Meet the Founder: Dr. Cassie Castro
Hello, I’m Cassie, the founder of ConsultaED and a lifelong advocate for educators, students, and the conversations that shape school culture. With over 15 years of experience in education leadership, special education, and MTSS implementation, I started ConsultaED to help schools navigate complex systems with clarity, confidence, and care.
I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Bethel University, also in St. Paul, MN.
At ConsultaED, I focus on one powerful truth: the way we talk shapes the way we lead, teach, and support students. When educators communicate clearly and work collaboratively, students don’t just receive services — they thrive. And when teachers feel connected and supported, they’re better equipped to support every learner in every setting.
Through personalized consulting, practical tools, and leadership coaching, I partner with schools to create stronger communication cultures — because communication isn’t just part of school culture — it creates it.
Helping schools build effective support systems for students with diverse needs and strengthening the adult communication that keeps those systems working.
